Description There are six alphabet rows, with decorative bands between them, a central Federal brick farmhouse flanked by possibly cedar trees, all above a flowering basket and peacock. There are heavy losses to the alphabet lines and moderate to heavy loss to the signature line.

Ann Barrow her work Age 10
"Attributed" to Ann Barrow (1829-1891) who was born in Clark County, Kentucky. Further research is necessary to confirm this attribution. She was the sixth child of Hinchea Gilliam Barrow (1790-1856) and Rachel Scholl (1789-1876). She married Simeon Walters in Estill, Kentucky, on August 5, 1853. Ann died on January 29, 1891, in Kansas, and is buried in the Effingham, Atchison County, Kansas.
