Description This is an embroidered picture of a floral bouquet of abstract and folksy flowers bundled together with a graphically exaggerated ribbon. There are several significant losses to the ground and to the thread with staining affecting the upper half of the ground and scattered dark stains to lower edge. Frances Todd
Frances Ann Todd was born on February 3, 1830, in Berea, Madison County, Kentucky. She was listed in the 1850 census living in the household of Robert and Emeline Flora of Kenton County, Kentucky. She married Elijah Thomas Hudson (10/18/1820-12/20/1903) in 1848 in Madison County, Kentucky. They appear to have had two children: John Broadus (5/6/1849-12/18/1943) and William David (1/29/1851-12/31/1928).
Frances Todd died as a young mother on August 31, 1851, in Rockcastle County, Kentucky, at the age of twenty-one. She is buried in the Hudson Family Cemetery in Jackson County, Kentucky.
