Made by Susan Alina Wright in 1851. It is currently owned by Private Collector #32. A prominent Warren County, Kentucky historian suggests that it descended from Susan Alina to her son Lynn Wright Hendricks (1880-1952), who married Alice Maud Depue (1886-1954) and ultimately descended in the family to a great-great grandchild of the sampler maker. However, this suggested descent of the sampler is conjecture.
